About me…
My path into counselling began with an inherent interest in understanding people’s experiences, alongside a strong desire to help and support others when they faced life’s challenges. This led me to complete a BA (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a process that encouraged ongoing self-reflection and personal growth. It was through this journey that I developed a deeper understanding of the importance of empathy, compassion and self-awareness in building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel daunting, particularly when you may not know what to expect from counselling. My aim is to provide a welcoming, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can feel comfortable bringing whatever is on your mind. I believe that being listened to and accepted as you are can be an important first step towards exploring what you are experiencing and developing a deeper understanding of yourself.
I am a qualified person-centred counsellor and am committed to providing an ethical, professional and supportive service. I will work alongside you, offering a space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences in a way that feels right for you.
